Restore · Reiki + Private Yoga · White Stone, Virginia

Rest is not something
you have to earn.

Restore is an invitation to slow down, receive personal care and reconnect with yourself through Reiki, private yoga, breath and intentional rest.

Personal Care Begins by Listening

Quiet, experienced and never rushed.

Rooted in Experience

Rochelle began practicing Reiki in 2007 and has taught yoga, movement and breath-based wellness since 2004.

Created Around You

Every Reiki or private-yoga session begins with your comfort, intentions, needs and pace.

Space Without Pressure

There is nothing to perform, prove or accomplish. You are simply invited to arrive as you are.

My Reiki Journey

The practice became personal long before it became a service.

People often ask me how I found Reiki. The truth is, Reiki found me during a time when I was searching for something more.

In 2007, I began hearing about the gentle healing benefits Reiki was offering people living with illness. There was something about the quiet nature of the practice that kept drawing me in. I wanted to understand how something so subtle could create such meaningful change.

That curiosity quickly became a passion. I began seeking out respected and well-known Reiki teachers, wanting to study with practitioners who had devoted years to the work.

I also had the opportunity to study alongside my sister-in-law, who was immersed in holistic nursing. Our conversations about caring for the whole person—not simply the diagnosis—changed the way I understood healing.

Healing was not always about fixing something. Sometimes it was about creating space for the body, mind and spirit to rest.

As I continued my studies, Reiki naturally became part of my yoga studio. Students began asking about it, and I started offering private sessions to people who were curious or simply looking for another kind of support.

I watched people arrive carrying stress, grief, exhaustion and the heaviness of everyday life. Every experience was different, but I often saw shoulders soften, breathing slow and faces look lighter by the time the session ended.

Those moments stayed with me and deepened my respect for the practice.

When Reiki became deeply personal

My Reiki journey took on even greater meaning when my aunt became sick with cancer. I continued my training and went on to become a Reiki Master so I could offer Reiki to her during her illness.

I would travel to spend time with her and perform Reiki sessions. Those visits became some of the most meaningful moments of my life.

She would tell me she could smell lavender during our sessions, even when there was no lavender in the room. She also told me that Reiki helped her sleep more peacefully.

I have never forgotten that.

Those experiences taught me that healing does not always mean curing.

Sometimes healing is comfort.

Sometimes it is one peaceful night of sleep.

Sometimes it is a deeper breath, a softened body or simply feeling less alone.

Today, I continue to walk into every Reiki session with the same humility and curiosity I had when I first began. I do not promise miracles or tell anyone what they should feel.

My role is much simpler: to create a peaceful space, offer the practice with integrity and meet each person exactly where they are.

Ways to Restore

Choose stillness, personalized movement or a little of both.

Restore sessions are designed for people seeking personal attention, greater ease, quieter space or movement created specifically around their body and goals.

Move Personally

Private Yoga

Private yoga is not simply a group class taught to one person. It is a conversation and a practice created around your body, history, comfort and goals.

Sessions may include mobility, alignment, breathwork, strength, balance, restorative movement or support for developing a home practice.

Rochelle’s Philosophy

I do not believe wellness should feel intimidating.

I do not believe healing has to be loud.

I believe small moments can create meaningful change.

One breath. One session. One quiet hour.

Sometimes that is enough to begin again.

Restore Questions

Before your session.

What should I wear for Reiki?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax. You remain fully clothed throughout the session.

Is Reiki hands-on?

Reiki may be offered with light touch or with the hands held slightly above the body. Your comfort and preferences are always respected.

What might I feel during Reiki?

Experiences vary. Some people notice warmth, tingling, heaviness, lightness, emotion or deep rest. Others simply notice slower breathing or a quieter mind.

Do I need yoga experience for a private session?

No. Private yoga is especially helpful for beginners because the practice is built around your questions, body and pace.

Can I combine Reiki and private yoga?

A customized Restore experience may be possible. Contact Rochelle to discuss the type of session you have in mind.

Does Reiki replace medical treatment?

No. Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical care, medication, mental-health treatment or guidance from a licensed healthcare professional.
